Easy Halloween/Fall Decor

Here are some easy ways to make your home more festive for the fall season.

For this craft, I had Nick cut down a stud to 3 1/2 by 4.  Then I painted the blocks black , and cut out the letters BOO using my Cricut and the Don Juan cartridge.  Next, I glued the letters onto the blocks and then stapled some orange sequin ribbon to hold the blocks together.

Another easy way to decorate for fall is to get some small gourds and pumpkins at the local market, grocery store, or the pumpkin patch.  Then place them in a large vase.  To spruce up the vase, I added a ribbon around the lower half of the vase.
Another decoration I created was a banner.  I used my Cricut to cut out pennants, and then used the Sure-Cuts-A-Lot Program to cut out the letters using the Juice ITC font that usually comes with your computer.  Then, I strung black ribbon through the holes to hang up.
Finally, a super easy way to decorate the outside of your house is to get a bale of hay, a few pumpkins and a corn stalk.  We tied the corn stalk using hemp twine.  And finally, I added the wreath that I created using this tutorial.
