My friend and I had a really fun craft day last week and created some really pretty wreaths. We based our wreaths off of this tutorial.
Make sure to come back on Wednesday for my Share the Wealth Wednesday Link Party!
Materials:
Wreath Form
1 Yard of Burlap, Cut into 4 x 4 Inch Strips
1 Yard of Burlap, Cut into 4 x 4 Inch Strips
Sewing Pins
2 Pieces of Felt
Coordinating Ribbon
Directions:
Cut your burlap into 4 x 4 inches.
Begin by connecting two opposite corners.
Grab another corner and place it on the outside of one of the two you have pinched together.
Grab the last corner and wrap it around the same way.
Take the pin and stick it through each corner piece and pin it into your wreath form.
Continue to place these all around the form making sure that you cover the pins as much as possible.
Make sure to fill gaps as you go.
One finished, create your flowers, (flower tutorial) and glue them to your wreath.
Then add your ribbon, stand back and enjoy!
Here's how my friend Jenna's turned out!

Super cute! Love the burlap!
