Manic Monday Recipe~Two Delicious Peanut Butter Pies

Today you get a 2-For-1 special!  I found this recipe on Pinterest for a fabulous chocolate peanut butter pie that my father-in-law and husband LOVE!  This weekend, I was looking through  my Magic of Christmas recipe book from Gooseberry Patch and found another delicious peanut butter pie that used vanilla pudding instead.  So I gave it a try and modified the recipe a bit.  I am going to give you the recipe for both.  These are such easy pies, and make a great dessert to bring to a party or get together.
Make sure to come back on Wednesday for my Share the Wealth Wednesday Link Party!

Peanut Butter Pie

Ingredients:
1/2 C. Powdered Sugar
2/3 C. Creamy Peanut Butter Divided Into 1/3 C.
9 Inch Pie Crust (I used pre-made graham cracker crust)
2 C. Milk
2 1 oz. Boxes of Instant Vanilla Pudding or 1 Large Box
8 oz. Whipped Topping

Directions:
Stir together powdered sugar and 1/3 c. peanut butter.  The mixture will be crumbly.
Spoon about 1/2 the mixture into the bottom of the pie crust.
In a separate bowl, combine milk, vanilla, pudding, whipped topping and 1/3 c. peanut butter.  Use a hand mixer to really combine ingredients.
Make sure to have a dishwasher on hand :)

Add mixture into the pie crust.
Lastly, sprinkle the rest of the peanut butter/powdered sugar mixture on top of the pie.
Chill for about an hour.
