Sunday Fun Day! Easy Easter Shirt!

I have fallen in love with this project!  I love using freezer paper and acrylic paint to create these adorable shirts!  Here's a link to my previous freezer paper shirt.  This time I created something with a little more detail, requiring some major patience!

Materials:

Iron/Ironing Board
Paint
t-shirt/onesie

Directions:
Begin by finding an egg on your computer and printing it out. Then trace the clover on the freezer paper.  Next, you should cut out the egg, and iron it on your onesie/shirt (shiny side down).

Once your freezer paper is adhered to your shirt, place a piece of cardboard or poster paper inside so the paint doesn't bleed.  Then, begin painting inside of your egg.

Make sure to follow the directions for using the paint.  Mine said wait an hour before adding another coat, but I am a rebel, ok I guess impatient, so I didn't wait!  But follow this instruction...don't pull the freezer paper off until you are done with your coats.  It's really hard to stay in the lines after the paper is up!

Once the paint has dried, pull your paper up and voila!

And if you don't have the time to make it on your own, you can buy it in my My Shop!

  1. Do you use anything to "set' the paint into the fabric.....what happens when you wash it? Very cute!
